NoLimit is an innovative linear LED system allowing architects, planners and building owners to plan and realise their lighting tasks autonomously. Basis of NoLimit is a modular construction kit consisting of clearly defined components: profiles, light inserts, control gear. All parts are tuned to one another and designed for an easy and trouble-free configuration. It is an open and growing system which is constantly adapted to current developments.

Inspire

NoLimit offers everything to realise sophisticated lighting solutions. The basic modules offer the planner an unlimited number of possible combinations allowing him to let his inspiration run wild.

Create

With NoLimit the planner on his own decides on the ceiling structure and the light effect in the room. The minimalist design of the slim profiles blends well with the architecture: the housing colours black and white are either striking or recede optically, combined with a shadow gap of 2 mm.

Perform

Optical, reflector and linear inserts characterise the interior of NoLimit, supplemented by cover profiles. The profiles take up light inserts and power supply units and allow flexible fitting and retrofitting. The light inserts can be positioned either indented, flush or protruding. This 3-level-design brings architects and planners added value in design.

Black & White - Unlimited variety.

Simple striking aesthetics – this is NoLimit. An interplay of hou- sings and surfaces that form a visible contrast or merge into one another. NoLimit traces the contours or it shapes.
It sets the lighting centre stage, follows a rhythm or sets it: with profiles and light inserts in uniform design or creating new levels. The consistent lines of black and white provide a high potential of transformation

Slim & efficient

NoLimit combines comprehensive lighting technology and deli- cate design. With a width of only 4 cm and a standard length of 2.30 m it sets completely new standards with regard to dimen- sioning of linear systems. It allows an exact and continuous line at wall and ceiling and at the same time provides highest light quality also with higher luminous flux.

Light design to the power of 3

NoLimit lets the planner decide on the appearance of light and its effect in the room. With the 3-level-design he has an intelligent tool at hand. The profiles take up the different light inserts which are installed flush with wall or ceiling, indented or protruding.

Optical detail

A shadow gap of 2 mm underlines the straight-line design of NoLimit. It supplements the overall appearance in a subtle way and becomes clearly visible if the light inserts within the instal- led profiles run on the same level.

Perfect shape: the profiles

Currently, NoLimit comprises six profiles for the realisation of the most different lighting tasks. Large profiles have three latch positions, small profiles have two. The whole linear system has got a uniform appearance. Planning with NoLimit means achiving a homogeneous design for the whole structure.

Brilliant all-rounders: the light inserts

Currently, the planner chooses from four light inserts: High Power with optics, High Power with reflector, Mid or Low Power as linear module. This variety guarantees individual solutions for accent and general lighting. NoLimit supports colour-dynamic sequences with RGBW and Tunable White control.

Strong basis: the control gear

The broad portfolio of NoLimit requires an adequate electrical supply: Voltage-controlled for Low Power, current-controlled for Mid Power Linear and High Power applications. The control gear is housed within the profiles or is fastened outside. The LI-value (capacity index) determines which power supply units can be combined with which luminaires.

The profiles are available in two colours, black and white. The current portfolio comprises six different variants for flush- mounting, surface-mounting or pendant mounting with two to three latch positions and in two sizes. With extensions to the standard length of 2.30 m NoLimit allows a continuous custom-made design to measure. Light inserts and control gear are integrated into the profiles by means of a uniform tool-less fastening system. This "snap in"-concept ensures flexibility also in retrofitting.

High Power Optics

High Power-Modules are excellently suitable for complex appli- cations in general and accentuating lighting. The optics used model the light, they provide for an exact light guidance and a uniform illumination. The light insert High Power Optics works with four different radiation angles: focused spot, medium, flood and broader oval.

Available colour temperatures are 2700, 3000 or 4000 K, with Tunable White control between 2700 and 5000 K. The luminous flux reaches maximum values of up to 1900 lm and leaves the optics cleanly mixed and free from artefacts, also with Tunable White.

High Power Reflektor

The High Power Reflector is predestined for an efficient, standard-conform and homogeneous general lighting of large surfaces. Also with a low budget high illumination levels can be realised.

With its radiation angle of 45° x 56°, the logarithmic microreflector provides for optimal glare elimination. By well-aimed redirection and reflection, the luminaire appears as harmonious light band, without visible light output.

The High Power high-capacity LEDs Tunable White allow a controllable colour temperature of 2700 to 5000 K at a luminous flux of 1585 lm. So this high-tech light solution clearly stands out compared to conventional louvre luminaires with static light colour.

Low Power Linear

These linear light inserts are equipped with Low Power LED. Major benefit compared to the high-power variants is their extreme flexibility. Linear modules are available up to a length of approx. 2.30 m, in total the portfolio comprises 150 available types. This results in a coherent design.

RGBW Low Power modules provide the ideal accentuating lighting and can be controlled individually within a grid of 16 cm, either for light guide systems in buildings or as effective mood lighting.

The colour temperature of Low Power Linear is 2700, 3000 or 4000 K. In addition to the defined colours blue and green the light insert supports a dynamic control with RGBW. Light luminous flux varies depending on the lamp and can reach up to 400 lm/m.

Mid Power Linear

The variant Mid Power Linear is the more powerful component of the linear light inserts. It meets highest demands on high-quality accentuating and general lighting.

The light inserts can be equipped with clear or satined optics. Tunable White Mid Power Modules provide for a linear general and accentuating lighting. The light inserts can be controlled via the control gear with DALI. So different lighting groups can be controlled in one line arrangement.

The colour temperature of Mid Power Linear is 2700, 3000 or 4000 K, the colour temperature of the Tunable White variant allows a variably adjustable colour temperature of 2700 to 5000 K. All modules reach a luminous flux of about 1450 lm/m.

4 control devices

For the Low and Mid Power modules as well as for the High Power modules there are two separate mains systems available: voltage-controlled for Low Power, current-controlled for Mid Power Linear and High Power. The control gear can either be fastened inside or outside the profiles. The supply modules for the installation inside the mounting profile are prepared for through-wiring of the primary supply voltage. All control gear and luminaires are provided with an LI-value (capacity index); indications refer to the required minimum and maximum load (e.g. 50 - 100).
In the end, the total load of the selected luminaires must range between the minimum and maximum value of the control gear. If the value is exceeded, further supply devices are needed. The accessories complete NoLimit and comprise all necessary contacting elements, for Low Power (3-pole) and for Mid Power Linear and High Power (4-pole). Included are simple pluggable extension leads in different lengths as well as a short-circuit plug for the current-controlled Mid Power Linear and High Power modules.

They guarantee the suitable power supply for Low, Mid and High Power modules. The LI-value (capacity index) is the key to the system and easy to apply also for newcomers. If you have decided on the design of the luminaires, the suitable power supply units must be chosen. All luminaire modules and control gear have an LI-value with minimum and maximum factor (LI min, LI max). If the total load of the selected luminaires exceeds the maximum value of the control gear, additional control gear is needed (see formula). Modules can be combined within the profiles but always need a separate power supply each for Low or Mid and High Power.
